I LOVE almond milk! But I have the store bought kind, I mean ugh, really? Luckily, I found out that almond milk is absurdly easy to make from scratch and is so much better then the pre-made, just like most things!
Soak about 1 cup of raw almonds, in about 2 cups of water in then put them in the fridge overnight. In the morning drain and rinse the almonds. Add soaked almonds (they’ll be all cute and chubby) to your blender, then 2 and a half cups or so of water (depends on how think and creamy you like it, if you want less creamy, add more water, more creamy add less water. Blend until smooth, there will be little brown specks (that is the hull), then strain, using cheesecloth or a nut milk bag, you can find one in the grocery store or at amazon.com (of course, they have everything under the sun).
Then walk! You have almond milk deluxe! Add honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, cacao powder dates, lots of options for almond milk deliciousness!
